About Jennifer
Jennifer Stadler holds a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Oklahoma, where she studied with renowned pianists and pedagogues Dr. Jane Magrath, Dr. Barbara Fast, and Dr. Jeongwon Ham. While at the University of Oklahoma, Jennifer taught multiple sections of undergraduate group piano and applied piano lessons through advanced levels. Previously, she ran a piano studio in Columbus, Ohio employing multiple teachers. Jennifer became a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music in 2012 and the following year received the MTNA Studio Teacher Fellowship Award for demonstrating a strong commitment to teaching and outstanding studio development. She was named a Yamaha “40 Under 40” music educator in 2022. Jennifer has been an active member of MTNA since 2008 and has served the organization in various capacities at the local and national level.
Outside of the studio, Jennifer is an avid rock and ice climber. She began climbing in the Wichita Mountains where she fell in love with the scenic approaches, peaceful encounters with wildlife, and secluded granite faces and fissures. The Wichitas sparked a passion that has lead her to destinations like Eldorado Canyon, Yosemite Valley, and El Potrero Chico. She has also led single and multi pitch ice climbs in Ouray Ice Park, the backcountry of Eureka, and the Adirondack Mountains. Whether scaling rock or ice, Jennifer approaches the mountain with the same focus and dedication that she brings to her playing and teaching.
